HLH Sporting Sponsorships

Work Hard, Play Hard
One of our favourite company mottos here at Hunter Labour Hire is ‘work hard and play hard!’. While we supply some of the most hardworking labourers and tradespeople in Sydney we also understand the importance of having a good work life balance. In line with this concept we are sponsoring three sports clubs this season – if you are interested in getting involved with one of these great clubs check out their contact details below.

South Eastern Seagulls Rugby League

South Eastern Seagulls - Hunter Labour Hire Sponsor

South Eastern Rugby League Football Club (SEFC) were founded in 1957 and are based at Pioneers Park, on Anzac Parade at Malabar. Since then they have evolved into the second largest junior rugby league club in the South Sydney Junior League with teams ranging in age from Under 5’s to A Grade.

Their hardworking team of coaches, trainers, managers and volunteers support a Club Executive who are driven to provide boys and girls in the area with the opportunity to enjoy the game of Rugby League, develop their skills and participate and learn the spirit of teamwork, achievement and discipline. They also encourage their club members to have fun and be an integral part of our hard working community.

SEFC encourages and welcomes all new players, Boys & Girls, to our club and the wonderful game that is Rugby League. If you’re interested in joining the club please contact Kyle at info@sefc.com.au or visit the SEFC site for more info.

Sydney Irish RFC

Sydney Irish RFC - Sponsorship Hunter Labour Hire

Sydney Irish RFC were established in 2012 and have grown significantly since then. In 2017 we started sponsoring them and they fielded three teams, competing in Division 4 of the NSW Suburban Rugby League. They also have a number of mixed tag teams competing in regional Sydney Oztag competitions and this year have introduced a Women’s Rugby team. Sydney Irish RFC welcome everyone and provide an instant support network for those with an interest in Rugby Union. Since beginning their journey in 2012, they have welcomed members from all across the world and look forward to doing the same in 2018.

If you are interested in joining or want further info head to Sydney Irish RFC site or contact the head of rugby Pat Duignan via e-mail pduignan@live.com.au or call him on 0406816420 – tell him HLH sent ya!

Barnstoneworth Utd FC

Thursday 28th May 1987 was the day it all started for Barnstoneworth United FC. A meeting held at the home of Graham Rumble was the starting point for this humble club which all originated from this classic Ripping Yarns video. The idea of the club was to copy the style of the original team, it’s name and colours and was agreed that the keystone should be good fellowship and good sportsmanship at all times.

Fast forward to the present day and Barnstoneworth United are still competing in the Eastern Suburb Football Association (ESFA) competition. Having had several teams in the past compete across multiple divisions the club has made the decision to focus primarily on the AA2 competition for the 2020 season and then rebuild to 2 teams again next year.
Matches are played on a Sunday at 1 pm with training taking place on a Wednesday night at 7 pm. Our home games and training sessions take place at Paine Reserve on Rainbow Street, Randwick. Barnstoneworth United is always looking for new players to join their all age men’s team so feel free to come to training and try out. Register your interest here

Although the main reason we get together is to play football on a Sunday, Barnstoneworth United prides itself on being a social club. Being involved in club nights out and post-match drinks at the Coach and Horses is a vital part of the club’s identity.

A Proud and Optimistic Sponsor

Hunter Labour Hire would like to take this opportunity to wish both of these clubs the best of luck for the season ahead. We’re very proud to be able to sponsor them both and are optimistic about what the future will bring for these teams.

If you are already involved in one of these clubs and have experience working in the construction industry then we would love to hear from you. Make sure you contact us today on 02-89852019 or email your resume to jobs@hunterlabourhire.com.au to see what jobs we could have lined up for you!
