HLH Group – The Year in Numbers (July 2024 – June 2025)

With the end of the financial upon us it’s time to relfect on the previous 12 months. And what better way to consider the year than via the numbers that made up the year from July 2024 – June 2025, here we go.

HLH Group Year in Numbers 2024 - 2025

New Clients: 192

We’re proud to announce a record-breaking year with 192 new clients onboarded—a mix of residential construction companies, as well as businesses in civil, landscaping, demolition, plumbing, electrical, and commercial fit-out sectors. A massive shout-out to the entire HLH team for driving this growth!

Labourers & Tradespeople Placed: 7,887

The demand for skilled tradespeople remains high. Chippies, in particular, are in constant demand. While we’ve occasionally struggled to meet client requests for tradies, we’ve developed a new recruitment strategy aimed at closing these gaps in the coming year.

Notable Trend

Our ratio of tradespeople to general labourers has shifted from 30/70 to 20/80—highlighting the need for ongoing efforts in sourcing and attracting top tradie talent.

Registered Candidates: 807

Candidate availability fluctuated seasonally. As always, summer brought a surge of arrivals to Sydney, but many of our overseas workers have recently headed north in search of warmer weather. We continue to monitor seasonal shifts closely to manage workforce availability and maintain service standards.

BD (Business Development) Calls Made: 5,786

It’s been a banner year for business development! The team hit personal bests across the board, contributing directly to our record client intake and growth momentum.

Candidate Feedback Calls: 2,163

Candidate feedback remains a cornerstone of our quality control process. We’ve conducted a record number of feedback calls this year, and our in-depth interview and onboarding systems continue to ensure we deliver high-calibre workers to our clients.

Site Visits Conducted: 274

Workplace safety remains a top priority. Our regular WHS site inspections not only ensure compliance and safety but also provide valuable face-to-face time with both clients and candidates. These visits form the backbone of our proactive safety and service approach.
