HOW DOES IT WORK?

An apprenticeship has several resources and parties involved along the journey:

  • The first and arguably most important is the Apprentice network provider (ANP). They offer services to employers and apprentices to guide them through the process.
  • Once an apprentice and a host employer have agreed to commence there are several steps involved with initiating the apprenticeship.
  • A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is responsible for developing the training plan.
  • They will assist with ensuring the training program has been followed.
  • HLH group will mentor and support both the apprentice and the host employer along the journey via site visits and gaining regular feedback.
  • There will be rotations between classroom learning and on the job site experience to ensure the apprentice gets the most value from it.
  • There is also competency-based progression which may result in a program been completed before the initial end date because the apprentice has achieved their learning goals earlier than expected.
